District Idol is a solo vocal competition sponsored by the Kennedy
Center for the Performing Arts Foundation and is open to all Anaheim
Union High School District students. This year we will be hosting
separate divisions for junior high and high school students. For each
level, the competition will consist of two rounds.
As
part of the
audience, your vote will be the deciding factor at
the first "All District Idol" vocal competition event. Three
professional judges will critique each of the 10 vocal finalists.
Join The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Foundation for an
exciting competition to determine who will be the "All District Idol"
of the Anaheim Union High School District. The audience will be
casting their vote for the performances of ten aspiring
vocalists. The audience scores will be tabulated and the winners
announced that evening. Enjoy an evening of music, young talent
and competition. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second
and third place winners.
Tickets are $5.00 each for the Junior High Division on Thursday,
October 24 and $7.00 for the Senior High Division on Saturday, October
26
at the AUHSD

Walker St., La Palma. The Kennedy Center for the Performing
Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization, organized to promote the
arts and enhance the AUHSD Perfoming Arts Center and to provide a
superb facility for the AUHSD students and the community to utilize.
Tickets will be on sale at the door, with
cash or a check (no credit cards at the door).
